Terms of service
Senior Care Stars provides senior-living referral and placement assistance in East Broward County. Free to families and referral sources. We’re compensated by communities only upon a completed move-in. We present options with factual information — availability, pricing, and state inspection history — and every placement decision belongs entirely to the patient and family.
No medical or legal advice
We help you find and compare licensed communities; we don’t provide medical, legal, or financial advice. The choice is always the family’s. Nothing in our service replaces the judgment of licensed professionals.
SMS/Text messaging program terms
Program: Senior Care Stars placement service. Description: service-related text messages about your senior-living placement case — a one-time confirmation when you submit a request, and occasional messages about your specific case.
How you opt in
You opt in by checking an explicit, unchecked-by-default consent box on the final step of our web intake form at seniorcarestars.com/send. You must check it yourself — it is never pre-selected. The consent box reads, word for word:
“I agree to receive SMS text messages from Senior Care Stars about this case at the number provided. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out.”
By texting our number, calling us, or submitting our web intake form, you agree to receive service-related text messages from Senior Care Stars at the number you provide. Message frequency varies by case. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of receiving our services.
Opt out at any time by replying STOP, after which you will receive one final confirmation message and no further texts. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information, including our commitment that mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Acceptable use
Please do not send protected health information (full names of care recipients, dates of birth, medical record numbers, or clinical records) through our intake channels — initials and general case facts are all we need. You agree to provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge and to use our service only for its lawful, intended purpose.
Communities and third parties
Senior living communities we present are independent businesses licensed by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration. We share the factual information available to us, but each community is solely responsible for its own services, pricing, admissions decisions, and care. Any residency agreement is between the family and the community.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Our service is provided “as is.” While we work from a continuously maintained database and confirm information by phone where possible, availability and pricing can change without notice, and we do not guarantee any particular placement outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Senior Care Stars LLC’s total liability arising from the service shall not exceed one hundred dollars ($100), and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
General
These terms are governed by Florida law, with venue in Broward County. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.
